PETER VILLARI AND PAUL BRANDES NAMED PENNSYLVANIA SUPER LAWYERS FOR 2010
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA – June 2010 – Villari, Brandes & Giannone P.C., a leading law firm concentrating in the representation of victims of catastrophic personal injuries, announced today that Peter M. Villari and Paul D. Brandes have been named Pennsylvania “Super Lawyers” by American Lawyer Media and Philadelphia Magazine.
“It is an honor to be recognized yet again by our peers,” said Peter Villari, Senior Trial Counsel and Managing Shareholder of Villari, Brandes & Giannone, “This distinction reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to our clients.”
Lawyers named to the prestigious annual list are voted there by attorneys through a state-wide ballot process conducted by the magazine. Candidates are assessed on a number of factors including experience, awards and community service. Super Lawyers is a comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys, representing a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations. Only 5 percent of the lawyers in each state or region are named Super Lawyers. Law & Politics performs the polling, research and selection of Super Lawyers in a process designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
This marks Villari’s fourth and Brandes’ third consecutive annual selections as Super Lawyers. Villari, an equity partner and senior trial counsel at Villari, Brandes & Giannone, focuses his practice on medical malpractice and other catastrophic personal injury matters on behalf of the firm’s injured clients and their families. Villari received his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude from LaSalle College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before earning his law degree from Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. For over 25 years, he has successfully litigated complex matters for individuals and businesses. Brandes, also an equity partner and head of litigation at the firm, received his college degree in 1985 from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts before earning his law degree in 1990 from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia. He is the co-author of two books and is a senior litigator and trial attorney at the law firm, with several multi-million verdicts and settlements among his significant successes on behalf of the firm’s medical malpractice and other personal injury clients.
