Deanna was educated at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1987, she received dual undergraduate degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with Honors from the College of Arts and Science and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School. She received her law degree in 1990 from the Law School. Prior to joining the firm, she has practiced in both a large law firm setting and in a boutique law firm. She has worked in the areas of labor and employment law, school law, and general litigation. Deanna serves as an officer and board member of a private non-profit parochial school located in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, which serves children from pre-school through high school. Deanna is well-versed in many areas of law, though she works primarily as an integral part of the firm’s growing environmental toxic tort department. Deanna represents families, property owners and neighborhood groups who have suffered personal injuries, toxic exposures or property damage as a result of chemicals and poisons improperly released into the air, soil or water by irresponsible or negligent companies or government entities. Deanna proactively prosecutes claims against these companies and government agencies to help the affected families or property owners obtain: reimbursement for their property damage; medical monitoring for signs or symptoms of diseases possibly brought on by toxic exposures; money damages for physical injuries; and binding promises from the negligent companies or government entities to clean up the contaminated sites and rectify their sub-standard or deficient environmental practices.
