Peter M. Villari, Esquire

pvillari@villarilaw.com

Peter VillariPeter Villari, an equity partner and senior trial counsel at Villari, Brandes & Kline, graduated summa cum laude receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from LaSalle College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before earning his law degree from Dickenson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. While at Dickinson, Peter actively participated in the Trial Moot Court and was undefeated during his time in the program. Peter also clerked for a Pennsylvania State Senator while in law school.

Upon graduation from law school, Peter immediately began litigating cases on behalf of injured victims and commercial clients. Raised in a family business within a competitive industry, Peter developed and maintains a strong understanding of the complex needs and rights of businesses, both big and small, as well as their employees. Eventually, Peter dedicated his career to representing victims of personal injury caused by motor vehicle collisions, trucking accidents, defective products, premises defects and medical malpractice, but still litigates complex commercial matters when requested. More recently, his practice has focused on the representation of children who have suffered injury as a result of preventable birth trauma. Peter has successfully litigated and tried cases in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and has been involved in numerous multi - million dollar verdicts and settlements.

In the last year or so, Peter has “branched out” into a new practice area: Educational rights for learning disabled children. Peter seeks to ensure that school districts provide appropriate educations for children who have problems learning compared to their peers, even if it means fighting to require the school district to pay for the child to attend a school outside of the district. Together with his partners, Peter seeks to ensure that “No Child Left Behind” really means no child is left behind. Additionally, Peter is significantly engaged (with his partner, Paul Brandes) in the design and development of computer software which assists trial lawyers in their visual presentations to juries.

Peter is a member of the Philadelphia County, Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, as well as the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations and the Birth Trauma Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice. He was certified as a Trial Advocate by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in 1989, and teaches courses for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute regarding issues ranging from medical malpractice/birth trauma and tractor-trailer accidents.

Although well known for his trial advocacy skills, Peter holds dearer the fact that most of his clients call him friend and applaud his willingness to "listen to them, hear them and understand them." While most attorneys would cringe at the thought, all clients have his home phone number. His passion is and will remain to vigorously advocate the rights of those who have been victimized by the carelessness and negligence of others.
